Is money your friend? Or does it only visit every now and then? No matter how you earn your daily crust, money is on everyone’s mind. But if it slips through your fingers like water draining out of a bucket then maybe your money mindset needs some TLC
My relationship with money has always been slightly healthy, I mean I like to save and watch those noughts grow, but is this really a healthy money mindset?
Hmm not sure!
Apparently we have to be aware of where we stand when it comes to money. I mean do you like it? Love it? Fear it?
In all honesty I think I’m ambivalent when it comes to money and I really want this to change.
But can I really change my relationship about money? And if I do will I become some money hungry hustler ready to fleece anyone who gets in my path? I hope not, but who knows right?
So I’m putting myself through a money mindset makeover, starting next week and I’ll share my journey with you.
I have no expectations so I have no idea what to expect but I want to see if my mindset tools can help me here and if it does what would that mean to my bank balance or money attitude or???
And I’d like you to join me.
Because to create a money mindset the basic approach would be
Step 1: Notice where you are now in terms of money and your goals
Step 2: Identify the blocks/beliefs to a healthy money mindset
Step 3: Change/eliminate those poor money mindset beliefs
Step 4: Notice what’s changed and what’s not, and recycle steps 2-3 until complete.
And you know it’s no fun doing things on your own. So I’d like your company and if you’re brave enough for you to join in and let’s work on all our money mindsets together.
But first things first.
To get you primed and ready you have to identify whether you have money blocks by asking yourself this question
If I don’t have enough money what stops me?
This question really gets you to lay it all out on the table and you’ll notice that you’ll uncover your fears, insecurities, excuses and your healthy beliefs and your family beliefs all around money, that is affecting you now.
And if you want to go deeper here are some more.
Sentence completion
I don’t have enough money because …………..
Money is………………….
If I become wealthy my friends will…………………
Wealth is………………..
Admittedly you have to be brave to go there, but I’m going to delve deep and you know how lonely it can get doing things on your own. So join me next week in upgrading your money mind. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain!
So, for now, think about your own money mind, is it as wealthy as you’d like and would you like to potentially change that?
Let me know.
